Alfonso Rosas
Artist
Born in Hermosillo, Sonora in 1977. At an early age he was attracted to the visual arts so he studied and has a degree in Graphic Design. Through his career he has developed in different areas such as corporate design, artistic photography, redesign, and interior design. Art is his passion and where he finds a free and sincere expression of the soul. In a search for better results in his painting, Alfonso has experimented with different techniques and in different areas such as tattoo, video art and body paint. With the intention that his work is perceived in a more real way Alfonso Rosas has created installations, that have auio and video creating a unique experience for the spectator. Paintings of big format are a fundamental part of the artist’s work. Creating murals for different customers as well as for the government such as the mural painted in the Instituto de Geriatria del Estado de Coahuila. He has won different prizes, among others the Concurso Bienal Estatal de Artes Plasticas de Sonora; as well as the Muestra de Arte Sierra Madre in Monterrey Mexico and Paris France. He was a creative director of the art gallery and studio Blanco Arte contemporaneo. He has had more than 15 individual expositions and 20 collective expositions. He is currently working in personal projects and his work is exhibited in Mexico, United States and Europe. |
