		Born in Hermosillo Sonora Mexico the 3rd of October of 1977. Since he was young he was attracted to the visual arts, this leads him to major in Graphic Design in the Universidad del Noroeste. As an artist he has done different creative projects, he has traveled and taken several courses regarding drawing, paintings and new supports for contemporary art. During his career he has worked as freelance for different advertisement, printing, and audiovisual producer companies: he has created corporate identities and advertising design in Mexico and the United States. His constant artistic search has allowed him to experiment in different areas such as body paint, sculpture, tattoo, art design, photography in video clips, short film and interior design. Interested in having his work be observed with more intensity and as a part of a contemporary tendency, he has created installations that have audio and video, which traps the spectator in an environment full of colors, shapes, images and sounds. In October 2002 he wins first place in the “Concurso Bienal Estatal de Artes Plasticas de Sonora”. During this same year he also wins in the category of young creators the scholarship given by the Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y las Artes, which allows him to do the project Miradas Antiguas. Interested in the relationship between art and society this project has as a purpose to create awareness about a very important topic: old age. Paintings of big format are a fundamental part of the artist’s work. Creating murals for different customers as well as for the government such as the mural painted in the Instituto de Geriatria del Estado de Coahuila during 1995. In June 2006 he exhibits the series “Era de Luz” in Monterrey Mexico. In October 2006 he wins the second art show Sierra Madre in Monterrey Mexico, this allows him to exhibit his work in Paris France in March 2007. From December 2007 to December 2009, Alfonso Rosas and Vicente Berlanga, open BLANCO Contemporary Art in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. A place for exhibition and sale of contemporary art. As an art gallery and creative studio, BLANCO showed the latest creations of national and international artists, exposing new ways of conceiving and visualizing art. During two years important projects were developed; such as the decor and art of AVEMED center; as well as the design and remodeling of the international agency “Grupo W”. He is currently working in personal projects and his work is exhibited in galleries of Mexico, the United States, and Europe.
